"So promise me you'll never forget...that you aren't an accident or an incident...you are a gift to the world, a divine work of art, signed by God. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on this earth...Flooded by emotion, overcome by pride, the Starmaker turns to us, one by one, and says, 'You are my child. I love you dearly.'" Max Lucado, God Thinks You're Wonderful

Thankful Thursday

This week we are thankful for one huge prayer has been answered.

Blake accepted a job offer with a group in Tulsa starting in August 2012! I am beyond proud of him for how hard he has worked. After fellowship, he will have worked 14 years to make this dream of his come true. It's amazing for us to see how God orchestrated this job. It's been extremely hard for us to fathom leaving so many wonderful friendships, birthmoms, our agency and my precious precious in-laws as we move to Tulsa. But it's also a HUGE blessing that we will be moving closer to my parents and all 3 of my sisters and 7 cousins for the kids!

Congrats babe...we couldn't be more proud of you!!!

Another blessing this week was the doorbell ringing Monday afternoon to some of our neighbors who had filled our front yard with eggs and gifts for the kids!!!!I am also thankful for the other adoptive mommy blogs that share hair care tips and how to's. I put Sadie's hair in beads for the first time and it was sooo much fun for both of us. I never would have done this if these mama's hadn't shown me how!!!I just love this picture of Sadie at the zoo. Isn't she gorgeous? And her personality keeps Blake and I rolling. She is such a pistol.

This Little Light of Mine

I am going to let it shine!
I often find it hard to contain my joy...sometimes the kids tell me I am crazy and ask me to stop singing and dancing like a dork. But I just can't get my goofy grin off my face! I pray that those who share life with us, as well as those that only see our family from afar, can see Jesus in our lives.

Especially in moments when things don't go as planned-note pic above!

And mostly, our sweet children...that they can feel the love of Jesus through the way we love them.

Easter is changing more and more every year as the boys get older and understand more about
the sacrificial love of our Savior. And with every year it seems as if we've trusted God more with our lives, and seen Him and experienced His love in a whole new way. This year Emery is our sweet reminder of this. It's hard to imagine that THIS is where we were last year!

Emery eating my hair...her favorite right now! Like Blake and I's dorky hold? What in the world?

Ok seriously...she is SO cute!!!

Daddy's littlest princess (the only one who would take pics with us!)

Good Friday

At the zoo...Sadie saying, "Shooie, the buds (birds) stinky."

Emery loves the swing!!! She got her first tooth on April 17th and took her first step on April 20th! Tomorrow she will turn 10 months!

Enjoying some popsicles on the swing!

Man he is cute! Can you tell he is ready for the pool to open???

Hi munchkin...you are gorgeous. Every time I snuggle you I think of what a dream come true you are...how close we were to not having you, and how the pain before you came was so worth it!!! You complete us!

How in the world is he soooo big? And he is such a sweet pea. He has a heart of gold.

Can we say sassy? She loves all things girly, but also loves trains and gettin dirty. She wears 4T tops and 24 month bottoms. I mean seriously, I'd die for those genes!!!

I find it really hard to explain to a child why we call today Good Friday. But, still I have tried. I heard this years ago in church and it still gives me chills. I hope you love it too!

I pray that whatever might be stealing your joy today, that this would give you hope and focus. I know for me right now, Easter couldn't have better timing. I find myself struggling that our house hasn't sold...and this reminds me how trivial that is on a million different levels. May I spend my life chasing Jesus, and not focusing on the silly things of this world.

Playing catch up!

Dinner on the mountain with the family!

Napping in our bed. They are so cute how the spoon!

Owen lost tooth number 2 while we were in Aspen. Yet again, we don't know when it happened. I keep telling him that I think he swallowed it!
My sisters always put me in the laundry basket when I was little, so when they did this it made my heart smile!

Look who won this battle! She can scream louder!

Our last time at the pool! I am one blessed mama!

At Owen's Gotcha Day dinner (posted most of those pics in the last post).

Someone finally peed on the potty. Its only happened once since this pic, but still we are celebrating it!!!

Girl...I LOVE your puffs. Seriously...I can't get enough of those lil things on her sweet head!

This is in the hotel in Denver heading home. It's like they all could sense what was happening! We all were giddy!

I love this pic of my Grandy and Emery. So so precious! The kids were dying to swim!!! This was a week ago in Tulsa!

We are home safe! Thank you Jesus! I am pooped, but will update with more pics later. Boy, I've missed you guys!

Picture post- text added!

Sorry, but some of these needed explainin! Blake fixed the computer!!! He's a genius! I just love how much fun they are having here!

Trying to catch their laughter and smiles...must.take.video.
In "school" we were talking about spring. Yea, this is about all the "spring" we could see!
Another fun school thing...but what I really wanted to point out was what the boys hair looks like before I put product in! Owen's almost looks completely straight!
Somebunny couldn't get to sleep...

Somebunny else got twists...I think she likes them!
Sadie posing for me!

Eating our "slop" in school as we talked about pigs!
