We have visitors!

So we are having a blast with Blake's parents and our neice and nephew here for the long weekend. The kids are in heaven. We went to the aquarium yesterday and the circus today!!! Um. Yes. That is my near 20 month old daughter with a pacifier. Geesh lady. Get.a.grip.

The circus pictures were fun...I think I enjoyed watching the kids just as much as the show. What is it about the excitement of living life through your child? We had so much fun! Thank you Gigi and Papa for everything.

They got snowcones in circus cups! Can life get any better for a kid? I think not!

They sure have missed one another!!! Just in case you are wondering...I have not been to the circus since I was a child. It's just as wonderful as I remembered...and maybe even more so because I got to go with such great company!!

Emery might have been the most entertained...she seriously thought she could be in the circus...she was jumping, bouncing, dancing and EWWW MOMMY!!!! It
was so cute! Owen wasn't feeling up for a picture...but aren't these two cute!?!?

I was trying to catch her watching...but mostly got hair and cheek ;o)

Yum yum! The boys wanted her to have a frohawk...how cute are they?!

There's my lil man! We got the biggest smile out of him when the elephants pooped. HA!!!

The Sweetest Things...

This past Saturday we had a fun day planned for the kids. Blake took each one out by themselves to have some daddy time. It was so cute and fun for them all. Cooper got to do breakfast, Owen got to go bowling and lunch and Sadie (Emery ended up sick) got to go to the Chick-Fil-A Daddy Daughter Date night. Can you tell she was excited? She told Blake to put on his lipstick. ;o)

Ah! One of my favs! Self portraits...what a cutie!

Then he snapped one of bub! Look at that smile!

My parents headed back to Ghana last Thursday. My mom was clever and planned ahead knowing their layover would be in Atlanta again, they flew in and stayed all day with us! It was SO MUCH FUN!!!! Our hearts were filled and it was just enough to get us by until our next family visit.

They made it safely to Ghana and are having a wonderful time sharing and teaching CR. To follow their journey check out their blog on my sidebar.

And check out our sweet lilbit. Oh she is at such a fun age!!! Please excuse our ashy legs...we had a fun playful afternoon.

Peek-a-boo....oh lawdy I love that smile. And these two...boy have they continued to bond over the last few months. Sadie just hates it when Emme naps longer than her. She just begs us to wake her so they can play. The other morning at breakfast I asked the kids what they wanted to thank God for. Without hesitation Sadie blurted, "My Emery. She is good for me." Melt.my.heart. And in this pic...she was trying to cheer her up in the car and they started playing "Stinky Feet". It worked.

Sometimes I just have to pin him down for a picture. You gotta do whatcha gotta do. But this pic will never let me forget this stage of camera-shyness (ya, I know...not a word). Notice the people checkin us out at the MLK Jr Day parade. We are always making a scene with our traveling circus!

Picture post

These are pictures from before Christmas that I never posted! Blake's parents came and visited us after Thanksgiving and we went to Stone Mountain Park again. This shows the skyride or gondola going up the mountain (as well as the kids dying to play in the water!)

Isn't this a great pic?!?! I feel like the boys never want to take pictures, so I love when I get great ones with them!!!

She loves riding on your shoulders and adding a little of her own hair "gel" aka slobber.

I love how you can see her smile even when you can hardly see her face. I pray she always walks through life with this joy.

Sadie sure is bonding with her sister. When Emery is napping and Sadie is up, she wants so badly to wake her to play. It's precious!

Sadie really wanted to pose by this snowman. She is so into pictures lately :) Wowzers on the blonde hair. It's mellowed out a bit now. Yikes!

Isn't this sweet? Well, all except Owen's face. This is how he feels about pictures. Oh mom!

They took us out at the kids favorite burger place!

One of my favorite pictures of us! Its on top of Stone Mountain and behind us is downtown Atlanta (although I just looked and I can't find it...it's there I promise!)

Awww. Me and my honey...not sure who the cameraman was, but good job guys!

Haha! Our teeny tree! We were only here until Dec. 16th, but I had to have at least a lil something! The kids loved it and it added lots of color to our apartment.
