"So promise me you'll never forget...that you aren't an accident or an incident...you are a gift to the world, a divine work of art, signed by God. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on this earth...Flooded by emotion, overcome by pride, the Starmaker turns to us, one by one, and says, 'You are my child. I love you dearly.'" Max Lucado, God Thinks You're Wonderful

The Sweetest Things...

This past Saturday we had a fun day planned for the kids. Blake took each one out by themselves to have some daddy time. It was so cute and fun for them all. Cooper got to do breakfast, Owen got to go bowling and lunch and Sadie (Emery ended up sick) got to go to the Chick-Fil-A Daddy Daughter Date night. Can you tell she was excited? She told Blake to put on his lipstick. ;o)

Ah! One of my favs! Self portraits...what a cutie!

Then he snapped one of bub! Look at that smile!

My parents headed back to Ghana last Thursday. My mom was clever and planned ahead knowing their layover would be in Atlanta again, they flew in and stayed all day with us! It was SO MUCH FUN!!!! Our hearts were filled and it was just enough to get us by until our next family visit.

They made it safely to Ghana and are having a wonderful time sharing and teaching CR. To follow their journey check out their blog on my sidebar.

And check out our sweet lilbit. Oh she is at such a fun age!!! Please excuse our ashy legs...we had a fun playful afternoon.

Peek-a-boo....oh lawdy I love that smile. And these two...boy have they continued to bond over the last few months. Sadie just hates it when Emme naps longer than her. She just begs us to wake her so they can play. The other morning at breakfast I asked the kids what they wanted to thank God for. Without hesitation Sadie blurted, "My Emery. She is good for me." Melt.my.heart. And in this pic...she was trying to cheer her up in the car and they started playing "Stinky Feet". It worked.

Sometimes I just have to pin him down for a picture. You gotta do whatcha gotta do. But this pic will never let me forget this stage of camera-shyness (ya, I know...not a word). Notice the people checkin us out at the MLK Jr Day parade. We are always making a scene with our traveling circus!

So sweet! I love how thankful Sadie is for her sister. Brought tears to my eyes.
