"So promise me you'll never forget...that you aren't an accident or an incident...you are a gift to the world, a divine work of art, signed by God. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on this earth...Flooded by emotion, overcome by pride, the Starmaker turns to us, one by one, and says, 'You are my child. I love you dearly.'" Max Lucado, God Thinks You're Wonderful

Touch a Truck

I took the kids to the Touch a Truck show in town and it was SO much fun!

Even Sadie enjoyed it and we learned so much about trucks, police cars, bomb squad robots, car carriers, military vehicles, mobile vet clinics, ambulances, drug dogs, crains, garbage trucks, cement mixers, etc. It really is cool. It's like a slice of heaven for boys! Blake's been on call this weekend, so he didn't get to make it. But it was nice to have something really cool to do to distract us while daddy was working!

I asked him to pose by the robot, and before he did he asked me if it was going to pinch him. How cute! It did have its little pinchers out towards him!
Hope you enjoy the pics! Sadie of course made many new friends along the way!

Since we go to church on Saturday nights now, we've so enjoyed having Sundays all to ourselves.
It's so fun to just have nothing to get up and rush around for. So when the thunderstorms came rolling in this morning the kids and I cuddled up on the porch and just took it in. I love the smell of rain and the sounds of storms!
Oh, and some more pics from Sadie's Gotcha Day! And thank you Aunt Becki for finding "Lola" for us at the flea market. We heart Lola!
Sadie trying to rip Tiana's head off. Oh the upside of having brothers! Blake reminded me that she also used Tiana as a bat to hit Blake and I! We kept saying, "No sissy, be gentle." And she just gave us that huge toothy grin! Sadie's favorite dinner. I love Cooper's ball on the plate so no one will take it while he's eating. I love Sadie using the spoon for her bread, and that she has to eat naked because she's a messy eater...bibs are useless. Daddy got this one for Sadie...we'll need this before too long when the pool opens!!!!Sadie has finally started repeating things we say. She has never been one to repeat or say something on demand even if she can already say the word. Wonder where she gets that stubborn streak from??? This week she has started talking so much more and it's adorable! We can't get enough of it. She is bossing the boys around (as well as the rest of us) and well, it's just too cute because her sassiness shows when she talks because she is so sure of herself, yet so bitty....oh, and she uses hand motions. Simply.hilarious.
Last night when we were reading stories she was running around trying to get into the bunk beds and she knocked something on the floor. I said my typical, "Oh beans!" and Sadie piped up, "Oh beans!". All four of us got so tickled, so she kept saying it!
