"So promise me you'll never forget...that you aren't an accident or an incident...you are a gift to the world, a divine work of art, signed by God. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on this earth...Flooded by emotion, overcome by pride, the Starmaker turns to us, one by one, and says, 'You are my child. I love you dearly.'" Max Lucado, God Thinks You're Wonderful

Family Weekend

Blake had a conference in San Diego and was gone from Thursday to Sunday, so I packed up the troops and we headed north for my parents house and my sisters! As much as I love my children I know that would have been a recipe for disaster to stay here alone for 4 days!

We had so much fun just hanging out and enjoying each others company and all of the kids.

Sadie took her first trip to the zoo on Saturday. She didn't seem to be too impressed with anything and even slept thru the noisy train ride!

Owen and Cooper still cannot get enough of their baby sister. Even Cooper loves to take care of her and help me out. She is opening her eyes more and she seems to be responding well to her medicine for her reflux. We are only having trouble getting to sleep after one feeding of the night, instead of all 3!

Hey Molly, my name is Kim Bevins and I was given a link to your blog by a mutual friend, Katie Goodson! When I started reading your blogs, you seemed so familiar to me, and I finally realized that I knew your older sister Laura from Jenks (I graduated from JHS in 95!) Anyway, we too, have adopted (Ty just turned 2) and are waiting to adopt again after the death of our newborn daughter Lucy in May of this year.
I am so encouraged by your amazing faith and also share in your love for open adoption! Congrats on baby Sadie, she is adorable!!

i love how you get ms. sadie out in the sling. I have one for cole but it isn't the most comfortable, so we just pop him in the car seat in the stroller, i may have to get some sling tips from you!

OMGoodness, yes, I want to eat her up! And, raise of hands, sisters, how many of us have pictures with papa asleep while holding our babies (safely and securely)? Hahaha...
