crazy...

I tell you what, April was crazy! I have felt like there's a ton going on, and at the same time like I have done nothing at all but just maintain. I guess I should get used to that seeing that we are a pretty busy house right now.

So, I apologize to all of you that feel neglected...it's not just you. It's everyone. I am sorry, I have been the world's worst friend. And now I am using my blog to apologize? What??? That's crazy nonsense! {{{BOO}}}

But I have 4 incredible reasons/excuses for my neglect. My heart could not be more in love with my job as wife and mommy. And so, this is where my time and attention have been.

The best dad ever reading to the kids before bed. Notice he didn't even get a chance to change clothes!

And because I want you all to see just a little of what's been keeping me...here they are!

Lil' bit and her bubbles! She's so easy, she even enjoys her toes when she has no toys. I know you are thinking that all kids do this, but she's my first to enjoy her feet!

My funny guy loving his new hair style. Do all toddlers LOVE chewing gum or is it that I am the only one crazy enough to give it to my kids???

The boys and their science experiment. No lie, that's what Owen told me this bag O' water was...and it needed to be refrigerated for 4 "dayses". I love my life!

My incredible husband bought Sadie and I flowers just because he loves us. I LOVE tulips!
Owen and Baylor cheesing it up on the swing set. They sure do have fun together! What a blessing to have such wonderful neighbors!

I am in serious denial of Owen's age. Although I should be expecting it, he tells me he's 4 everyday (he's still 3 months shy!) . That face just makes me melt!Sadie's first wagon ride. I know, I know...she's 8 months old and only now getting in a wagon. Cooper feeding Sadie baby food. He did such a good job for his age, but all I could do was giggle watching her head wobble trying to chase his ever-moving spoon. Again, I can't tell you how much I laugh in a day!

Another huge blessing this week was that I was able to see the kids birth mom's this week. What an answered prayer to have relationships with these incredible women! Even more cool is their love not only for these children we share, but for our family. I can not share pictures although I know they would bring you all to tears.

Please pray for these women and all who have lost children over Mother's Day. This incredible holiday is so intensely painful for so many women, whether they are not able to carry children, are waiting for a child through adoption, have lost a child, or have placed a child...it's more than I could ever begin to imagine. My prayers are with you all on Sunday!

Oh, LOVE the pics! I laughed at each one....Cooper's hair full of pencils was hilarious! And yes, the boys love gum!

It amazes me to see Sadie sitting up on her own, and riding in a wagon! Too cute...and can I just say thanks again for the bows..I love them and can't get enough of them!

And Owie....wow, he did look older in the pictures and I can't believe he will be 4 this summer. Gosh, time flies much too quickly.
How could it be that he is almost a month old?

Can't wait to see you!!
Dad came over today to visit Luke and I...and he said to Luke, "you're almost a month old" WHAT????

Saying your children are beautiful is just not enough I need a better word oh my gosh they're so adorable and can almost see thier personality's in the pics you are able to catch the moment so well. Owen reminds me so much of Aaron they look so much alike it's almost scary well atleast in the one picture were Owen looks so grown up and he is telling you he is 4, maybe cuz they're so close in age. Cracking up about the science experment because one of my older ones did this when they were little, I can't remember if it was Austin or Madison hmm I'm getting old! Your joly in motherhood shines through in your blog posts and so enjoy reading them!

I forgot something, Randy somedays says can I just get out of this uniform pretty funny but he is attacked with little guy demanding attention from the minute he walks in from work so I thought it was precious to see Blake still in work attire reading. Ps this weekend on Sat. is a big production at UCO called touch a Truck just North of the fire station put on by the Edmonds mom club we went last year cuz Policeman Randy has to work at it and Aaron really enjoyed it thier are so many things for the kiddos every type of truck you can imagine and buses and cars too boys would love it.

I am trying to comment on your post...which I love..but I am so confused as to why Laura is thanking you for bows and why she loves them and can't stop using them...maybe it is the wine...or is 35 really making me lose my mind?

I've been thinking about Colt's birthmother the last few days. I'm so excited because it's my first Mother's Day as a mom! But it still pains me to think of what she might be going through. She is very much a mother, but does not have her son to hold and squeeze on that day. I wonder what she will do...

I love reading your blog and yes, you can certainly link me on POA blog! I plan to put a button on my blog once I get it revised at the end of the month. Please link me, I'd be proud to be listed!

Happy Mother's Day to you and those beautiful women who share your heart.

Your children are beautiful, but not only because of their precious features, but because you and Blake give them such a happy, joyful home..thank you for sharing. I will be praying for both your mommies, I can only imagine how hard it is for them...what a sacrifice...what amazing women!

Satin sheets?! I didn't even think about that! See, I knew I'd need your advice, girl!

Crazy, huh? It's all happened so fast. We are completely.in.love. I have been praying non-stop that we get to keep him forever. Ugh, I can't even think about it without crying.

Melodie invited me to the trans-racial play group...I think I remember seeing you in her pics. Of course, J isn't much into playing these days but I'd love to chat with the mommies!

I'm sure I'll be emailing/facebooking you soon. Tell me everything you know! :)
