"So promise me you'll never forget...that you aren't an accident or an incident...you are a gift to the world, a divine work of art, signed by God. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on this earth...Flooded by emotion, overcome by pride, the Starmaker turns to us, one by one, and says, 'You are my child. I love you dearly.'" Max Lucado, God Thinks You're Wonderful

Orphan Sunday- November 8th

I saw this video on another blog and it made my heart ache.

November is National Adoption Awareness month.

As Christians we need to take this time to bring attention to the needs of orphans everywhere. Even those in our city...

I pray this makes us all think about doing something at our home churches to raise awareness.

Remember it would only take 7% of Christians touching the lives of one orphan to eliminate the need.

I heard a story on Delilah about a couple who had been unable to get pregnant for twelve years and they now have a beautiful baby girl. From a woman the mom worked with! She told this mom that the minute she found out she was preganant she was supposed to give her baby to this mom and her husband. She wanted her baby to have loving home. I just cried and cried. What unselfish love!!!
