"So promise me you'll never forget...that you aren't an accident or an incident...you are a gift to the world, a divine work of art, signed by God. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on this earth...Flooded by emotion, overcome by pride, the Starmaker turns to us, one by one, and says, 'You are my child. I love you dearly.'" Max Lucado, God Thinks You're Wonderful

Bigs

So I told you the bigs went to the lake with their daddy and my in-laws....

Well, we have NO pics people. I adore my husband, but he's not the best at taking pictures. We did manage to get 3 on the iphone, but didn't once use the camera I gave him to capture these moments mama was missing. *sniff sniff* I'll have to be a big girl and get over it.

I've heard great stories from all of them of the fun that was had. The boys went tubing and got to drive the boat! Sadie got lots of cuddle time with Gigi. They saw an incredible fireworks show lakeside and enjoyed lots of swimming and playtime with their cousins.

Monday we had a wonderful surprise that Blake got to be HOME from work! For the last week we've so enjoyed his new service as it has come with much better hours.

Since we had some down time, but needed to keep Emery out of the heat, we went to the science museum. What a great daddy we have!I love how tiny Emme looks in Blake's arms.
Emery is doing great. She is eating like a champ, now taking 3 oz about every 2-3 hours. Her cheeks are filling out, she has a double chin and we can see her arms starting to get rolls! If you remember, Sadie NEVER got chunky juicy rolls like her brothers...so we are super excited that our little peanut seems to be on her way to butterball turkey! She is even growing out of her preemie clothes! Yay sissy!

Sadie and the boys are still adjusting well, the boys better than Sadie. She is doing great, just a little clingy and today I caught her walking around with Emery's paci in her mouth (she gave up paci's last week). Owen has been a tremendous help around the house. Part of me feels guilty for this, but part of me knows it gives him great pride to be able to help. He fed Emery this morning so that I could hold Sadie. It's amazing how kids step up to the plate when the situation arises. I have caught him doing things to help me several times without fussing...most of the time when I don't even ask for help.
Cooper is his normal self...completely unphased by this addition. Don't get me wrong, he completely adores her and gives her more kisses than any of us get from him. But this dude rolls with the punches. He takes it like a champ and just keeps on keeping on.

AH! Emery looks sooo teeny in Blake's arms! Like he's holding a lil baby doll. She is beyond gorgeous. I can't get over her precious little lips. I can't wait to see you again- feels like it's been too long. Had to jump on over to your blog to see whats up!
