Bouncy Seats and Swings

It's amazing to me all that invades your house again when a baby comes home! All of the sudden I have little floor space because of all of the contraptions that seemed to arrive with Sadie. The babies themselves take up very little space. My children have never really quite taken to many of these devices, so I am not sure why I still get them out! But, what's been funny is that when Cooper joined our crew Owen regressed a bit and couldn't get himself out of the bouncy seat.

This was funny because he never really liked it in the first place until Cooper came along!

This is what I found the other day.

It brought back memories of Owen doing the same thing.

Everyone keeps asking how the boys are doing with Sadie. I am amazed at how great they have been. I think the biggest struggle has been that we've just had to slow down a bit and stay home more than usual.

You know what happens when boys have to stay inside for any prolonged period of time. We've had a few meltdowns, but for the most part it had nothing to do with Sadie...they've just been a little stir crazy.

So today I decided it was time we get out. I surprised the boys with a trip to the Omniplex, which they LOVE. So, here are some pictures from today.

As an update for our princess...and yes, Sadie does mean princess!

We took her in yesterday just to make sure she was still doing well since leaving the hospital. I was actually worried she wasn't eating enough, but realized my concerns were silly as sister weighed in at 8lbs and 12oz! She'd gained 9 oz in 4 days! She's growing out of her clothes by her arms and legs, I think she's going to be tall! She's having more awake time each day and is making great eye contact. I love this! She also "cooed" for the first time on Tuesday. I love baby talk, so it made me melt!

These next few were taken during the last OU game. Blake was on call, so I wanted to document for him that I was doing my best to keep our kids on track while he was gone! Obviously, I needed some help and extra hands...notice poor Sadie looks a bit concerned and then it clearly becomes panic!

I am cracking up because Kylan is doing the same exact thing with the baby items we are starting to get out. Where did you get the precious OU dress? Kynlee needs one of those and that is the cutest one I've seen!! I love the pic of the boys kissing their baby sister. Love the update!!

Crack up, it took me five minutes to figure out if that first picture was Owen or Cooper! I admit I cheated and realized that pic was at the old house, which means it was Owen! Man - just when I think they don't look too much alike, I can't tell them apart. Sadie is changing too much!!! She isn't that tiny little thing we dragged to Branson!!!!! Can't wait to play again!
