Firsts and 10 months old!

Sadie wishing you a happy 4th of July!

This girl is constantly on the go. She is busy busy and she's got lots to tell you! She crawls or walks all of the time. She rarely sits still and it getting LOUD and silly (notice the above picture)! She loves to dance and throw her head back. She loves being in the air and spinning around. Looks like we have another dare devil in the house!

We've had several firsts this week which is so fun, but also a reminder that with everyday our Owen is more of a little boy than a toddler.
All 3 kids in the middle row! I LOVE it! They are so cute all close together and Sadie loves having her brothers to make her giggle!

I thought the year he turned 2 was hard...my goodness, I had no idea how hard turning 4 would be.
So, this is Owen learning to ride his bike without training wheels. Evidently, his friend Baylor up the street did it and he couldn't stand letting a girl show him up! So, he and his buddy Dunkin had their dads remove their training wheels. I think the fact that they were doing this at the same time brought on some friendly competition and so they both kept trying until they did it!

Of course, then Cooper wanted his turn. Notice there is no pic of Coop riding? Yea, it lasted about 10 seconds and he was off that bike in no time reporting that it kept falling.

The same day our sweet Sadie had her first taste of ice cream! Can you tell she loved it? Sorry for my cheesy smile but I was cracking up because she was shoving the spoon into her mouth! It was too cute! We went to get ice cream to celebrate Blake's end of the year!

On Tuesday night, my precious hubby took all 3 kids shopping for my birthday present. Seriously, I almost cried when they left because it was so sweet of him to want to involve the kids in picking it out. I don't even take the kids to the mall to shop, so I was floored he wanted to do this! I think they did really well too, no meltdowns but one really funny story.

I guess Owen needed to go to the bathroom right when they were sitting down for a snack. Blake started to pack everything up and turned around and both boys had wandered off! They found their way into the WOMEN'S bathroom to relieve themselves. Blake yelled into the bathroom to see if they were in there and Owen tried to convince Blake to come in and that they were actually in the right room. Blake was praying that some mom would come to his rescue, but no such luck. He had to wait it out. They came out fine like it was no big deal and that it happens all the time! Cracks me up!
Sadie waiting on dinner. She is eating so much now, can you tell her cheeks are getting full?

I teared up a little seeing all of your precious cargo on one row. They look super happy to be together(for now!)
You will have to get Blake to fill Phillip in on the whole shopping trip thing. Blake gets extra bonus points for going early & not last minute! The next time we get together I'll fill you in on my last birthday.
Speaking of which, I can't believe Owen is riding w/o trainers. I bet Coop will have it down soon too. The next time we play I am going to have to bring Keely's bike. I think seeing them ride off the other day really inspired her!
